Woolaballoo is the NE's premier speciality yarn store. Our flagship store has been open since March 2007 in the village of Crawcrook, Tyne and Wear. The Woolaballoo team are passionate about knitted garments as there's something so personal and very special about them - you can take a look at some of our customer's works of art on our blogspot at www.woolaballoo.blogspot.com and leave us comments on what you would like us to add to our ever increasing yarn collection.
I'm a teacher by trade but a knitter by choice so I thought I'd finally give in to my first love and set up the yarn shop, so if you're asking yourself "where can I buy gorgeous yarn online", try us out - we hope to be one of your favourite stores. If you are in the area though, please do come and visit our store as there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the yarn first hand and admiring the colours in the flesh.
We are hoping to make Woolaballoo one of the best online yarn stores with the finest knitting and crochet yarns and patterns as well as offering friendly advice and help whenever it's required. If we can't help you, we will always try to find someone who can, and if we don't stock what you are looking for please ask as it may well be coming in soon. Our advice is free, you only buy from us if you want to and we hope we've made it as easy as possible for you to purchase yarn online.
