    Virus Shawl Improvers Class

The aim of this class is to get Improvers started on a simple crochet shawl utilising the skills acquired in our Learn to Crochet Beginner’s Workshop.  Our step by step instructions will guide improvers to construct the Virus Shawl using a 4 Ply sock yarn.

    Skill level

You will be an Enthusiastic Improver.  Ideally, you will have a basic understanding of the key crochet stitches including chain stitch, double crochet (dc) and trebles (tr). This is not suitable for an absolute novice. This is a great project to extend your skills.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring lots of enthusiasm and a selection of crochet hooks and we will provide the yarn and the written instructions for you to follow.

How long will the class last?

The workshop will start at 6pm and last until 9pm or the Saturday class will run 11-3pm.  We will break for lunch/tea when you are welcome to pop out to the local cafe or bring a microwaveable meal or similar to eat at Woolaballoo.

    What should I bring?

Bring a notebook and pen and reading glasses if you wear them.

    What’s included?

Light Refreshments, all yarn and a handout. Plus the tuition of course! You will also get 10% off any purchases made on the date of the class itself.

How much does the Workshop cost?

The total cost is £30 and must be paid in full to secure your place.

    Workshop Terms and Conditions

    When do I pay?

Your place is not confirmed until full payment has been made and this payment is non-refundable. You can book online or instore.

What do I do if I can’t attend?

Bookings are non-refundable as we often have to book tutors well in advance. However, it is possible to substitute your place with a friend, so long as you inform us in advance.

What if Woolaballoo has to cancel a Workshop?

This happens very rarely and we endeavour to run all workshops as advertised and only cancel events in extreme circumstances. The events need a minimum of 4 participants to run. We reserve the right to change the workshop date if the minimum number of participants isn’t met for a specific event. If we have to cancel a Workshop, you will receive a credit to use against another workshop at a later date.
