Introduction to Crochet
New for Autumn 2019! This short course covers the basic crochet stitches such as chain stitch, doubles and trebles. Learn how to make granny squares and set yourself on the way to making a gorgeous project.
This new Woolaballoo Workshop will teach you all the basics of crochet in 4 x 1.5 hour sessions. We will meet on four consecutive Saturday mornings and even give you a little bit of homework so that you don’t forget your newly acquired skills between sessions.
We will familiarise you with all the basic crochet stitches and explain the differences between UK and US terminology so that you can follow online tutorials with ease. If time permits we may take a look at simple charted patterns too.
Absolutely none! Just bring yourself and bags of enthusiasm and we’ll do the rest
